I'll be deleting the posting of this collab from my luvtheheavenFOX4 channel soon... I thought today on the 6th anniversary of Cory Monteith's death would be a good time to upload it here instead. ~~ Voiceovers are transcribed at the bottom of the description, as are a link to the lyrics of the song and links to all of the editors' YouTube channels. (We finished this collab right before the 1st anniversary of his death.) There were 10 of us vidders who chose to commemorate this anniversary and pay tribute to both Cory's life and wonderful personality/real life relationships as well as to the character he was most famous for, Finn on Glee, by participating in this particular collab. We also featured glimpses of his appearances in Smallville, Kyle XY, Supernatural, and Monte Carlo. FYI, 4 of us made 2 parts in this collab. The other 6 vidders made only 1 part each. When characters are speaking they might echo the thoughts of the actors but it's a written script and it's different, so I wanted to clarify.) Sue: There's no lesson here, there's no... happy ending. There's just nothing. He's just gone. Darren Criss: He had a great sense of humor, and he loved life. Kurt: One moment in his whole life. I care more about how he lived. Santana: He was a much better person than I am. Rachel: It was special because, you know, it was with him, and I loved him and he loved me. Rachel: [sniffles] And before Finn I used to sing alone. Puck: If I start crying, I don't think I'll ever stop! Dianna Agron: We all have... nothing but the truth, which is he was one of the most amazing people that I've ever met: generous, loving, kind... um, and that's how he'll always be remembered. Rachel: I loved Finn and he loved me, and he loved all of you guys. I know he did. Rachel: I talked to him a lot. Puck: Singing isn't gonna bring him back. Sue: He was such a good guy. Puck: Everything that happened is in that line. Puck: You know, if Finn was around, I'd just keep letting him point me in the right direction. Mercedes: He was... our leader in here. Rachel: I can still see his face and... I can hear his voice so clearly. Do you think that I'll ever forget it? Will: I just have you guys. And the memory of the people on this wall. Lea Michele: He was very special to me, and also to the world, and we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile, and his beautiful, beautiful, heart. Artie: You're my friend - our friend. Even before glee club was kinda cool you had our backs. You were on the football team, you were one of the most popular kids in school... you had a lot to lose, and people forget the sacrifices you made. Kurt: Seeing him come down the hallway wearing this... it was like Superman had arrived. Mercedes: We love you, Finn. Chord Overstreet: This is for you, Cory. Kurt: What can you say about a nineteen-year-old who dies? Cory's cousin, Richard Monteith: It's like... my hero died. Kurt: I'm going to spend my entire life missing him. Rachel: That's beautiful. Lea: I really feel like I'm still trying to figure out all of this. I literally lived every day of my life feeling like the luckiest girl in the whole world. I just... I just thought he was the greatest man. Dot-Marie Jones: You hold in your heart all the good things. Brad Ellis: If you asked me about Cory before he passed away, I would say the same stuff I'm saying now, he was just a really exceptional person. Jane Lynch: I don't think he left one day unlived. Sam: Maybe you're thinking Finn isn't here. Well, he is. Carole: I saw how much he meant to you. Finn lives... in you guys. Darren: I'm just so happy that... a guy like him got to touch as many lives as he did, while we were all lucky enough to have him.
